Privacy Policy

Upleaf is a posture app for walks with AirPods. It is made by SisleLabs OOD. This policy explains what the app and this website do with your data, in plain words.
The short version
- Your walks, routes and head movement stay on your iPhone. We have no server that receives them, and we can’t see them.
- There is no account, no advertising, no analytics and no tracking.
- When you subscribe, Apple takes the payment. Our subscription service, RevenueCat, confirms it using a random ID that doesn’t say who you are.
Who is responsible
The controller of your personal data, in the sense of the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), is:
SisleLabs OOD4 Deseta str., Zvanichevo 4415, Bulgaria
Company number (EIK) 208739066
Email: support@sislelabs.com
What stays on your iPhone
To notice when your head drops during a walk, Upleaf uses the following. All of it is processed and stored on your iPhone only.
- Head movement from your AirPods, and your iPhone’s motion, steps and walking pace. You allow this with the Motion & Fitness permission.
- Location while a walk is running, to record your route and distance, including while your screen is locked. You allow this with the location permission, and Upleaf only asks for “While Using”.
- Your walk history: when each walk started and ended, how long and far it was, your upright minutes, how many cues played, and your route.
- Your settings, Sprig’s name, and how your AirPods sit, which Upleaf learns to measure your posture.
If you use iCloud Backup or back up your iPhone to a computer, this data is included in that backup, which Apple or your computer stores under your control.
Deleting Upleaf from your iPhone deletes everything the app stored.
Test versions of Upleaf on TestFlight also keep a file of the sensor readings above for each walk, to help us tune posture detection. Testers can choose to send us these files. The version on the App Store doesn’t create them.
What leaves your iPhone
Maps from Apple
To draw your route, Upleaf asks Apple Maps for a map image of the area you walked. This sends the coordinates of that area to Apple. Apple handles this under the Apple Privacy Policy.
Payments through Apple
Subscriptions are bought through the App Store. Apple takes the payment under your Apple Account. We never receive your card details, name or email address. Apple gives us sales reports without your identity, such as the country and the plan bought.
Subscription status through RevenueCat
We use RevenueCat, Inc. (USA) to check whether you have Upleaf Premium, so the app can unlock it and restore it on a new iPhone. RevenueCat processes this data on our behalf under a data processing agreement. It receives:
- a random ID that the app creates, which is not linked to your name, email or Apple Account;
- your purchase and subscription details: the plan, price, currency, dates, trial, renewals, refunds and Apple’s transaction IDs;
- basic device and app details: iOS version, device model, app version, language and App Store country;
- your IP address, which any internet connection reveals.
We use this to provide the subscription you bought (GDPR Article 6(1)(b)), to keep the accounting and tax records the law requires (Article 6(1)(c)), and in our legitimate interest in understanding our sales and preventing fraud (Article 6(1)(f)).
RevenueCat is based in the United States. Transfers of this data rely on the safeguards the GDPR requires, such as the EU Standard Contractual Clauses. See the RevenueCat privacy policy.
Things you choose to share
When you tap Share, for example on a walk’s share card, the content goes only where you send it.
Reminders
Reminders, such as the note two days before a free trial ends, are created on your iPhone. We don’t use a push notification server.
What we don’t do
- We don’t show ads or use advertising IDs.
- We don’t use analytics or crash-reporting services.
- We don’t track you across other apps or websites.
- We don’t sell or rent personal data.
- We don’t ask for your name, email, camera, microphone, contacts or health records.
How long data is kept
Data on your iPhone stays until you delete it or the app. RevenueCat keeps subscription records while you subscribe and afterwards for as long as Bulgarian accounting and tax law requires us to keep sales records.
Your rights
Under the GDPR you can ask us for access to your personal data, to correct or delete it, to restrict or object to its use, and to receive it in a portable format. Email support@sislelabs.com.
Because we don’t know who you are, please include the order ID from your Apple receipt for Upleaf. You can find it in your receipt email or at reportaproblem.apple.com. It lets us find your subscription record.
You can also complain to a data protection authority. In Bulgaria this is the Commission for Personal Data Protection (cpdp.bg). You can also contact the authority where you live.
Children
Upleaf is not directed at children under 16, and we don’t knowingly collect their personal data.

Changes
If we change this policy, we will update the date at the top. If a change matters for how your data is used, we will also tell you in the app.
