Terms of Use
Last updated 4 November 2026
These terms apply when you use the Upleaf app and subscribe to Upleaf Premium. Upleaf is made by SisleLabs OOD (“we”, “us”). By using the app, you agree to them.
The short version
- Upleaf helps you notice your posture. It is not a medical device.
- Your first walk is free. After that, walks need Upleaf Premium, a subscription you buy and manage through Apple.
- Subscriptions renew automatically until you cancel. You can cancel at any time in Settings. If notifications are on, Upleaf reminds you two days before a free trial ends.
- Stay aware of traffic and your surroundings while you walk.
1. These terms and Apple’s terms
You get Upleaf from the App Store, so Apple’s Licensed Application End User License Agreement also applies to your use of the app. These terms add what is specific to Upleaf. Apple is not responsible for Upleaf or for supporting it; we are.
2. What Upleaf is, and isn’t
Upleaf uses head movement from supported AirPods to notice when your head stays tilted down during a walk, and plays a gentle cue so you can lift it. It is a wellness tool for posture awareness.
Upleaf is not a medical device. It does not diagnose, treat or prevent any condition, and its readings are estimates. If you have neck, back or other pain, or a condition that affects how you walk, talk to a doctor or physiotherapist.
3. Walk safely
- Keep paying attention to traffic, other people and the path, especially at crossings.
- Keep your audio at a volume that lets you hear what’s around you.
- Don’t lift your head into danger because of a cue. Look where you need to look first.
- You are responsible for walking safely and following local rules.
4. What you need
Upleaf needs an iPhone with a supported iOS version and AirPods or Beats headphones with head tracking. Some features need your permission for Motion & Fitness and location. Without them, parts of the app won’t work.
5. Upleaf Premium
Plans
Your first walk is free. After that, starting a walk needs Upleaf Premium. You can choose a monthly or a yearly plan. The app shows the price for your country, including VAT where it applies, before you buy.
Free trial
The yearly plan may include a 7-day free trial if your Apple Account hasn’t used it before. The app only shows the trial when you can get it. When the trial ends, the yearly price is charged unless you cancel at least 24 hours before the trial ends.
Payment and renewal
- Payment is charged to your Apple Account when you confirm the purchase, or when the free trial ends.
- Your subscription renews automatically for the same period and price unless you cancel at least 24 hours before the end of the current period.
- Your Apple Account is charged for the renewal within the 24 hours before the current period ends.
Cancelling and managing
You can cancel or switch plans at any time in Upleaf under Settings → Subscription → Manage subscription, or in your iPhone’s Settings under your name → Subscriptions. After you cancel, Premium stays active until the end of the period you paid for.
Refunds
Apple handles all payments and refunds. To ask for a refund, use reportaproblem.apple.com. Your rights as a consumer under the law of your country, including any right of withdrawal, are not affected.
Price changes
If we change the price of a plan, Apple will tell you before it applies to your subscription, and asks for your agreement where its rules require it.
6. Your licence
We give you a personal, non-transferable licence to use Upleaf on Apple devices you own or control, for your own non-commercial use. Upleaf, Sprig, and the app’s designs, sounds and text belong to SisleLabs OOD or its licensors. Please don’t copy, resell, or reverse engineer the app, except where the law allows it.
7. Your data
Your walks, routes and recordings are yours and stay on your iPhone. The Privacy Policy explains what data is used and how.
8. Changes to the app
We keep improving Upleaf, so features may change. We won’t remove what Upleaf Premium is mainly for, posture cues on your walks, from a subscription you already paid for.
9. Responsibility
We build Upleaf with care, but we can’t promise it will always work without errors, or that every slouch will be noticed.
We are fully liable for damage we cause intentionally or through gross negligence, and for injury to life, body or health caused by our fault. In all other cases, as far as the law allows, our liability is limited to the amount you paid us for Upleaf in the 12 months before the event.
Nothing in these terms limits your rights as a consumer under the law that applies to you.
10. Ending
You can stop using Upleaf at any time by cancelling your subscription and deleting the app. We may end your access if you misuse the app or break these terms seriously.
11. Law and disputes
These terms are governed by the law of Bulgaria. If you are a consumer living in another country, you keep the protection of the mandatory rules of the country where you live, and you can also bring a claim in its courts.
If something goes wrong, please write to us first at support@sislelabs.com. Most problems can be solved by email.
12. Changes to these terms
If we change these terms, we will update the date at the top. If a change matters for your subscription, we will tell you in the app before it applies.
